UNIQUE Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Pair Vases w/ Swirling Dragons and Birds of Prey. A tremendously unique antique matched pair Meiji with RARE design of swirling dragons in combat with birds of prey.

I have not personally seen this depiction in my years of collecting Beautiful colors, with brilliant silver wire cloisons. These vases are very uncommon and extremely nice.

Unsigned, but these vases exhibit very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. Certainly made by a master of Japanese cloisonne. These antique vases are in very good to excellent original condition. The vase on left has very small scratch on shoulder and another very small scuff. In pictures 4, 5 and 6. Very minor in hand, digital camera accentuates. Extremely high polish with nice patina to rims. Approximate size is 7 tall. Please see photos as an integral part of this description. There some camera flash reflections that are result of high gloss finish. Wonderful UNIQUE pair would be an excellent addition to your cloisonne collection. Please check my other auctions.
