Rare Huge Goldstone Japanese Cloisonne Meiji Vase, Dragon Vase, Enamel Vase. Listing is for the single vase and it was made in Japan's Meiji Period (January 25, 1868 - July 30, 1912).Dragon appears to floating in space due to the way the artists portrayed them with the use of goldstone and dark ground. The Vase is 12 inches Tall. PLEASE NOTE The piece is in good condition despite some imperfections; There is a normal wear given it's age and there's a couple of spots where there are light scratches and oxidation; there's small areas of pitting to enamel and patina, and with a Slight bend to mouth rim. There's a couple bumps (hard to tell), and some spots where enamel loss is present and some spiderwebbed lines in various, the previous owner applied blended some paint in areas of concern. I'm probably overexplaining the imperfections and making it sound worse, but I would rather you be pleasantly surprised an happy instead of upset, so I try to explain and show things as best as possible.
Due to the beautiful dark ground most of the imperfections are NOT super noticeable, especially from most viewing angles, nonetheless this a wonderful statement piece and displays well. I also have Blue and White vases, other Larger vases and jars, Ginger Jars, and Cloisonne vases, check my other listings.
