One vase has two faint fractures in the background color on the lower body causing a slight color break and very minor hairline crack and a tiny bit of roughness in this area. The second vase has a very minor bend on the top bronze collar causing minor roughness in the cloisonne on the outside below this spot. The bend in the rim is barely noticed and the damage on the outside of the vase is hidden by the bronze rim and dark color of the band on the neck. None of these minor flaws are noticed unless close inspection is taken. Have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
