MID-CENTURY JAPANESE CLOISONNÉ VASE MADE INTO TABLE LAMP. DARK GREEN, 9½ INCH SILVER BASED VASE. Made after WWII, probably during the 50s, according to the motif. Converted into a lamp at a considerably later date. Silver based cloisonné with transparent, very dark green body (almost black) over a chased silver base with delicately detailed inlaid floral arrangement.

Very well finished with NO defects. The vase sits in a carved round wooden cradle, mounted on a round, heavy white marble plinth making it very stable. Shade is 10 1/2 tall.
