Antique c1900 Meiji Period Japanese or Chinese bronze cloisonné vase sculpture. One side has the beautiful floral pattern with orange and pink chrysanthemums and leaves as the other side has a single butterfly.
Bottom and rim are bronze or yellowish bronze. Cloisonné is either silver or black. The opening has a bronze insert that can removed (see photos). This vase is over 100 years old!
Rare to see one side as only a butterfly and the other as a floral scene. This vase has NO CHIPS or CRACKS! Condition: No chips or cracks.
Has normal scuffs, scratches, other wear on exterior, bottom and top from age and use. Please see photos for details. Overall this vase is in great condition for its age.
