Cloisonne enamelled vase, of hexagonal form. 1868 - 1912, late 19th century.

The body featuring repeat alternating panels of birds & flowers and ornate mask-head motifs. The floral and bird designs applied on a turquoise blue enamelled background, whilst the mask head design is integrated into an ornate geometric design.

The work applied using a range of finely coloured enamels set within hand placed wires. At Matsuri Japanese Art, your undivided trust is of the upmost importance to our continued success.
