Nature enameling of these Pieces there are large areas of glare, it's not damage, very sorry for the. This Antique Japanese Vase was converted into a lamp by Done By Alfred Koehn of A.

Koehn New York, who was a notable Authority of Japanese Art and published books and created wares from Japanese art and antiquities. The vessel features a dragon phoenix motif with wonderful colors and was mounted on a base featuring eagle birds. This vase portion was made in Japan in the Late Meiji Period (January 25, 1868 - July 30, 1912) to Early Taisho Period (Jul 30, 1912 - Dec 25, 1926) and the lamp and base were done in the 20th century. Listing is for the Single Lamp Vase, NO SHADE. The caps that sit on the mouth of vase move and come apart, they are fixed in placed so im showing that in the photos, they aren't broken, thats how it was made. Lamp Height: 22.5 inches / 57.15 cm. PLEASE NOTE: Overall the item is in good condition and has normal and typical signs of wear from age, including light scratches, patina, oxidation, and pitting, and due to age random enamel flaking may be present even though I didn't see any. I noticed some enamel imperfections and added them to the listing, Other than that, there is normal wear and NO dents.
