A large antique Japanese Meiji period Ginbari enamel vase. The vase has a globular shaped body and a wide neck.
The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of a dragon on the green ground made in the Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese Cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body.
