Japanese Meiji Silver Wire & Wireless Cloisonne Musical Box. The box is made with fine silver wire and wireless technique. The top has floral decorations over the black background, with wide symbolic borders.

The box has a beige background as well as the sides of the box and cover. The walnuts, maple leaves, acorns and berries are made with a wire wireless technique along the sides of the box and cover. The interior of the box has uneven blue enamel and original mounted musical mechanism inside. The legs have the original gilding on it as well as the rims. The winding key is located on the bottom.

It is in excellent condition with no dings, dents, cracks or restorations. There are a couple tiny scratches on the top only. It is 6 long x 4 ½ deep x 3 ¼ tall.
