Rare Japanese Monochrome Tomei Jippo (translucent) Cloisonne Enamel Vase. Signed Ogasawara Shuzo, Nagoya, Japan. Ogasawara Shuzo is listed in Nagoya-shi Hakubutsukan Kenkyu Hokoku III, Meijiki Hakurankai Shuppin Shippoko Soran (A Comprehensive Study of Cloisonne enamels) , p. 27, and recorded as an exhibitor at the Paris International Exhibition in Meiji 33 (1900) working under Hosansha.
