Gorgeous Antique Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Meiji Period 12 Vase. This is quite an old Japanese cloisonne vase, dating to the Meiji period, from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. With its beautiful blue background this vase is covered with colorful panels of geometric shapes and floral decorations. There are dragons, birds, clouds, stars and colorful borders.

The bronze background of two of the panels have gold specks all throughout. Measures approximately 12 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" at its widest, 3 in diameter across the top and weighs 1 lb. In very good antique condition, there are a few small areas of pitting and discoloration due to age and use. Please enlarge photos for detail.
