Fine Meiji Period Japanese Wireless Cloisonne Enamel Vase with Egrets Gonda
Wonderful Meiji Period Japanese Wireless Cloisonne Enamel Vase with Egrets - Signed Gonda. First, sorry for the flash. Hopefully enough pictures to see the beauty of this fine piece. A very beautiful antique Meiji cloisonne vase. Wonderful wireless technique with light mint green enamel ground, and white birds on lovely ovoid form. Gold sun in moriage technique. Looks to be original to vase enamel, but a little different and cannot confirm history. This vase exhibits very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. I estimate from the Meiji Period.
Signed on base Gonda, Hirosuke, true master of Japanese Cloisonne. This antique vase is in excellent original condition. No cracks, chips or dents. Approximate size is 3 3/4 tall. Please see photos as an integral part of this description.
Sometimes the camera catches what I don't. From my own personal collection, this fine vase would be an excellent addition to your own cloisonne collection. Please check my other auctions. I pack very promptly and securely.
