Fine Antique Japanese Silver Wire Cloisonne Enamel Box w/ Rooster and Hen - VERY RARE. Very nice old box in the style of Sosuke, very fine detail cloison work on rooster and hen was clearly done by a master of Japanese cloisonne craftsmanship. Classic, simple Japanese artistry is beautiful.

Box is estimated to be from late 19th century, Meiji Period. Interior and underside in mottled enamel attesting to very old making. This old box is in excellent original condition as made. Some minor pitting commensurate with age of making, but nothing of note.

Size is approximately 4 7/8" wide, 3 3/4" and 2 1/4 tall. Please check my other auctions. I pack very promptly and securely.
