A tour de force of classic form and premier quality - sensitively enameled in muted pastels against a rich goldstone ground with butterflies, flowers and scrolling leafy vines decorating the body. Neck and lowermost wall with opaque black and cinnabar dot and cloudwork borders. Exposed brass mouth rim and foot.

Stellar early 20th century craftsmanship in the demanding process - evidenced by use of fine copper wires forming cells, precisely controlled colors and uniform polished surfaces.
