Complex Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Openwork & Twisted Wire Urn PIB

  

Here is a wonderful miniature covered urn with a variation of Japanese cloisonné known as the openwork and twisted wire technique. Another nice feature that sets this covered urn apart from others is the complex form; the body has two handles and a body that incorporates thick brass bands that outline the central design of a butterfly and floral heads respectively.
