A large Cloisonné enamel vase, of baluster form. Attributed to the Namikawa Sosuke Studio. 1868 - 1912, late 19th century. The body depicting a scene with a perched Dove and Swallows in flight, amongst cascading branches of purple Lily of the Valley.
The work is applied using silver wires, on a majestic soft blue enamel ground. Upper and lower rims with floral and geometric patterned borders and silver metal upper & lower rims.
