The exceptional body, a deep teal-blue tone, covered in pink and white sakura blossom, blooming from aged timber branches. The work is entirely applied in low-relief enamel, a specialist technique called moriage. The work is so fine, the decoration of the body is in perfect symmetry with the lid.
Signed the seal of "Kumeno Teitaro". Good condition with no chips or restoration. A very small hairline to the edge of the lid. 11cm in height (excluding the timber stand).
