An cloisonne ginbari enamel ware vase, of quatrefoil form. 1868 - 1912, late 19th century. The vase incorporating four scene panels, each depicting various flowers and birds, surrounded by a monochrome electric-blue enamel ground.

The transparent enamel applied on top of hand hammered body and silver foil appliqué. Attributed to the workshop of Kumeno Teitaro. Small pin-prick blemish to the shoulder.
