An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, Ginbari enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming Wisteria flowers on the light blue ground made in the Ginbari Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE. CRACK COMING FROM THE BASE AND GOING TOWARDS THE MIDDLE. Due to the item's age do not expect items to be in perfect condition and I may not describe every little scratch or spot.
