An antique Japanese, late Meiji period, enamel over brass vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a fluted neck.
The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of birds in blossoming chrysanthemums and other flowers on the black ground made in the Cloisonne technique. Marked with an impressed stamp, on the bottom.
