Antique Japanese Covered Cloisonne Goldstone Jar

  

An antique Japanese Meiji era covered enamel metal jar. The hexagonal shaped jar is enameled with polychrome medallion images of Phoenix birds, floral, foliage, and swirl motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The ground is inlaid with a Gold stone.
