Ando Jubei Japanese Cloisonne Signed 7.5 Vase Grape Vine Motif Taisho Showa

  

An excellent 7.5 signed Ando Jubei Japanese cloisonne vase with grape motif. Possibly late Meiji but more likely Taisho Showa era.

It shows a finely wired depiction of purple red grapes and leaves on a vine set against a white background. The wires are incredibly thin silver and gold wire. Subtle color changes in the grapes and leaves.

Signed with the Ando insignia on base. The bottom of the base mount has some tarnish build up, but this does not affect the appearance of the edge when it is on display. Otherwise the vase is in excellent original condition. We have provided excellent hi-res photos so you can judge condition for yourself.
