Adachi Signed Meiji Japanese Ginbari Cloisonne Enamel Vase with Deity Riding Serpent. A very beautiful antique Meiji cloisonne vase. Flash washes out somewhat, more vibrant in hand. This vase exhibits very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. I estimate from the Meiji Period.
A master artist of Japanese cloisonne of ginbari-jippo. This antique vase is in good condition. To the right of the deity is an impact with spider hairlines.I provided three photos of this area. No enamel loss, and not very noticeable on display. Some normal wear to base. Approximate size is 4 3/4" tall, 2 1/4" wide.
Please see photos as an integral part of this description. Sometimes the camera catches what I don't. From my own personal collection, this fine vase would be an excellent addition to your own cloisonne collection. Please check my other auctions. I pack very promptly and securely. The item "Adachi Signed Meiji Japanese Ginbari Cloisonne Enamel Vase Deity Riding Serpent" is in sale since Sunday, August 11, 2019.
