Cloisonne enamelled vase Attributed to Gonda Hirosuke, Meiji Era C. 1868 - 1912, late 19th century. Of a elegant spherical shape decorated with Egret birds in a continuous band, in tones of white on a blue ground applied with a shakudo rim and gilt metal bottom ; the egrets worked in white musen (wireless) enamel plumage, their beaks and eyes subtly highlighted in silver wire. Size: H 9 cm, diameter to the bottom 4.5 cm.
