This listing is for a lovely Japanese cloisonne on bronze miniature gourd shaped vase. The vase is decorated with a colorful phoenix and assorted butterflies with delicate flowers and foliage filling the background. The background color is a rich, deep green with specks of copper mica throughout. This is a very nice miniature vase with unusual shape and beautiful details and colors. Measures 4 1/4" high with an overall width of approximately 2 3/4".

This nice vase is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There are a few minor pits in the enamel background which is often the case on cloisonne from this period.
