16 inch Huge Antique Cloisonne Japanese Edo Baluster Vase Bird Floral Enamel

  
Large Antique Japanese Edo Footed. Baluster Vase with Bird and Floral Motif, Enamel Vase. Listing is for the Baluster Vase and it was made in Japan's Edo Period (1603 and 1867). Baluster form Vase with a wide flared mouth (Trumpet Vase Style). Short ovoid body with a long neck and wide flared rim attached to a three-footed pedestal base. Brightly enameled with various geometric and diaper designs with panels and Floral roundels. Features a panel with a magnificient bird and florals surrounded by flowers and butterflies and a Taoist symbol beneath interlocking circles. The Vase is about 16 inches Tall. 40.64 cm and about 5.875 inches (14.9225). The piece is in good condition; There is a normal wear given it's age and some enamel loss, flaking, and some chips.

Locations which is common with pieces from this period. Unevenness to the enamel, Mouth rim slightly uneven. The piece also has patina to mounts and wear to enamel around the base. Again overall the piece is in good condition despite the noted things, and this piece displays well.
