Wonderful Antique Large Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Round Box. RARE large and finely done early Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Box. High gloss turquoise ground on the lid has a lovely outdoor scene of two colorful Mandarin ducks, rock formations, grasses and florals. The sides have a dark ground with scrolling vines, large cartouches and grand flowerheads.

Silk inside box and green counter enamel on underside. Large size measuring 7" across and stands 3 3/4".

This antique cloisonne box is in excellent condition. Please see photos as part of this description.

Some minor pitting consistent with age of making, no significance. It is a beautiful display piece.
