Superb Antique Japanese Silver Wire Cloisonne Enamel Box w/ Koi. Very nice lovely well done example of Japanese Cloisonne. Very fine detail cloison work on Koi. Silver wires shine brilliantly in hand. If you look closely, the grey fish mouth has indention as if truly open. Clearly done by a master of Japanese cloisonne attributed to either Gonda or Ando. It is a narrow box with silver rims and interior lining. Enamel is exceptional and very heavy for size. A very well made piece. Size is approximately 5" wide, 3 5/8" and 1 1/4 tall.
