Stunning Oriental Japanese Bronze Champleve Enamel Vase
Fantastic Japanese Bronze & Enamel Champleve Vase with Face Motif It measures 11 3/4 inches tall and is 6 1/4 inches wide at it's widest point. The vase is in excellent condition. It is marked on the bottom with Made in Japan. The bulbous shape of the vase is fantastic. All the bronze & enamel are in great condition with the exception of a very small spot towards the bottom with a bit of rubbing to it which can be seen in the last photo appearing as a white spot.
This fabulous vase would make a great eye catching centerpiece for a table or any other display. I estimate that it was made sometime in the 1920's to 1930's.
It is a beautiful example of Japanese Champleve Art and the best Champleve vase I have seen so far.
