A Cloisonné enamel vase, of globular form. From the studio of Kumeno Teitaro. 1868 - 1912, late 19th century. The translucent blue enamel surface, atop a hammered and etched sterling silver body.
Large Koi fish applied in low-relief using basse taille enamelling technique. Signed " Kumeno Teitaro" to base. One hairline crack from base.
