Large and Impressive Japanese Yellow Cloisonne Enamel Vase with Roses

Here is a large and substantial cloisonne enamel vase of roses on a rare yellow background. The quality and workmanship is excellent with the roses being finely worked in various shades of pink enamel.

The vase is in overall great condition, with the exception of 2 condition issues. On the right side of the floral rose design, there are a couple of hairlines. The hairlines are very hard to see, and only seen upon very close inspection. The other issue is on the bottom base, where there is a series of hairlines. I cannot figure out what caused the hairlines and fortunately, there is no loss to the enamel.

Personally speaking the condition issues are minor when considering the unusual size and rare yellow color of the vase. Please refer to the images provided. The height of this robust vase is approximately 7.25 inches. The width of the impressive vase is approximately 7.0 inches.
