Offered here is a lovely, extraordinarily fine silver wire, Japanese Cloisonne vase done in a RARE color. This beautiful piece features chrysanthemums including the branches and leaves done in lovely pastel colors with a fluttering butterfly ready to alight. This vase in in wonderful condition and the only issue I could find is a very fine craze mark on the top shoulder. Other than this one small exception, this vase is exemplary.
The base and top lip are silver and do exhibit slight tarnishing which I feel only enhances the aesthetics of the piece and denotes graceful aging.
