JAPANESE CLOISONNE VASE SIGNED ANDO - GIN-BARI We are pleased to offer this beautifully hand crafted late Meiji, silver rim Gin-bari cloisonne vase. Signed for the Ando workshop.

Founded 1893, received an Imperial Warrant to the Japanese court. Examples in Victoria and Albert, Walters Museums and many others. The Ando vase 7 1/4 inches tall, heavy in hand.

The base signed as shown. The beautifully shaded enamels retain their original luster.

As do the fine silver, and possibly gold wires. Silver rims in fine state. Couple of very faint, below surface lines, cannot be felt.
