Japanese Antique Meiji Cloisonne Silver Wire Iris Inlay Vase. Beautiful midnight/dark navy Meiji Japanese cloisonné vase with inlaid Irises and subdued hues of purple, green, silver, and more.
Piece stands 6 in height, and has maintained its status as not-priorly repaired/without restoration or touchups during the time I have owned it. Condition is well preserved for a piece of antique status; the only visible flaw being a small pool of resin/lacquer between the metal base ring and vase affixed to it, which is pictured clearly along with the residual gilt wear on the lip. No cracks, chips, firing flaws, major pitting, or other issues commonly associated with antique Japanese cloisonnés.
