Pair of Vintage Japanese Cloisonne Vases Description and Item Information Up for sale is this set of two beautiful, vintage cloisonne enamel vases. Please excuse the glare in the photos. The vases are pale blue, with flowers (probably peonies) and leaves in shaded, multicolored enamel.
There are silvertone metal (chrome) rims. Each vase measures approximately 4 7/8 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 3 1/2 inches. Unpacked, the set weighs 1 pound 10.4 ounces.These would be a fine addition to a collection of vintage Asian decorative arts. Identification These vintage cloisonne vases were made in Japan. The exact age of these estate items is not known. Condition The vases look very good overall, with no chips or cracks to the enamel.
The chrome rims have fine scratches, light finish wear, and minor darkening. One vase has very minor rippling to its upper rim, and a small bulge to its lower rim.
