SIZE - 12 30.5 cm. Height by 5 7.2/10 cm. Overall Antique Condition is Excellent, except for a small vertical 1 hairline near the base that looks like a scratch.I found it with a magnifying glass (See red arrow). The base plate was drilled as a lamp. Note: Take a look at the newspaper clippings I found crumpled up in a little ball inside this vase. The paper was fragile, and it fell apart as I fished it out with my grabber bit by bit. I soaked the pieces, used an iron on each little section and pieced the puzzle together. This was a newspaper story dated August 18, 1920, discussing the struggle for the Ratification of the 19th Amendment Women's Right to Vote. This vase probably belonged to a suffragette who stuffed the story inside for posterity. Now, 100 years later, the 100th anniversary of the Ratification of the 19th Amendment, I pulled the notice out of this vase.
