Very beautiful cloisonné charger from the late 1800s. Cranes and flora with blue background. Unsure if it's of Chinese or Japanese origin.

May date from a lot earlier than we think. Fair: many pieces of red enamel missing from inside the rim edge; also quite a few bits missing from the surface; back of charger is very damaged; knocks, chips, wear and staining all over.
