Antique Japanese Cloisonne Scholars Vase Gold Stone Ground Meiji 19th C
Fine example of a circa 1850 Meiji period scholars vase 9 CM. Very detailed work done in such a small area shows great craftsmanship, most likely done by a master of the trade. The body is covered with a wonderful goldstone ground. The dragon is fierce with three toes per foot. Please examine photos closely to appreciate the amazing detail.
