This listing is for a very beautiful, large Japanese cloisonne vase. The piece measures approximately 9 1/2" high and 5" wide.

It has an urn shaped design with a black background and beautiful flowers in the foreground with highly detailed petals, leaves, and stems. The top edge and the bottom edge are both trimmed in metal and there are decorative boarders both at the top and at the bottom. The underside is not marked or signed. This piece is in good condition for its age, there is a small area near the foot where there are two small chip in the enamel and the metal base is slightly bulging outward (please view photo #12). There is a slight bend in the metal along the upper lip (shown in photo #9).
