Antique Bronze Chinese Japanese Cloisonne Champleve Vase Table Lamp Lotus Flower

  

This antique bronze Chinese cloisonne or Japanese champleve table lamp, which was converted to a lamp from a vase, is in very good condition with no major losses to the enamel, nor any dents. The bronze vase measures a whopping 20 tall. When you measures it with the added brass lamp base, brass lamp top, and brass lamp shade holder / harp with finial, the entire lamp is 41 tall.

The piece measures 6 1/2 across the base. The enameling features stylized Lotus flowers, and is executed in blue, green, white, pink, and red. There is age appropriate wear and some construction flaws that are also appropriate on the vase. I did not take the lamp apart to see if the vase was marked on its base.
