Japanese Cloisonne' enamel charger, centered with a cherry tree bountiful of bloom and surrounded by lush daisy plants. The border is lavished with highly decorative swatches overlaid with four golden oblong swatches containing either a crane, butterflies or flowers and has a turn-up edge with checker board design. The obverse is blue with intricate metal scrollwork. Diameter is 11 3/4 inches. Excellent condition, free of scratches, damage, or loss to the enamel. Museum inventory marks painted on underside.
